A Bit About Me
Convinced there were too many amazing stories in the world to waste any time, I learned to read as quickly as I could. I fell in love with storytelling, and even now I believe that language is one of the purest forms of magic we have.

I chose to become a historian after I realized the craft of researching and writing history is all about telling the stories of those who came before us. After grad school, I spent a year managing an independent bookstore and have yet to replicate the thrill of putting the right book in the right reader's hands.
Now, as a writer and strategist I consider it my joyful responsibility to find the clearest, most enjoyable way to forge connections and communicate information—and more often than not it all comes back to storytelling.

Whether it's teaching history, recommending books, or writing copy for a website...
I'm here for the story.
